WEEK FIVE – SOUND INSTALLATION

In the last week of the chitchat workshop we created a multimedia installation. We investigated sound art by recording poems that written two weeks ago using old lo-fi tape players. The tape players gave a great effect and we found that it was a very instant and fun process. We started by reading poems alone and then in groups. Later we all read together and also added noises and sound effects….

We placed the tape players underneath cardboard trees that we had cut out, painted and collaged. The final piece was the result of practicing at using different processes (Installation and sound  recordings).
